Dr Sabina Ta
BBiomed, DDS (University of Melbourne)
Dr Sabina Ta is a gentle and dedicated dentist who enjoys working with patients of all ages to support long-term oral health. She holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and completed her clinical training in rural Victoria. With experience across several private practices in Melbourne, Dr Sabina is known for her calming approach and genuine passion for preventative care. She especially enjoys helping children feel comfortable during their visits and is committed to creating positive dental experiences that set the foundation for lifelong healthy smiles.
Dr Ta believes that early intervention and regular check-ups are key to avoiding dental concerns before they begin, a message she shares often with families. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, lap swimming, and spending time at the local park with her dog. She is fluent in both English and Korean and takes pride in making dental care accessible and reassuring for patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr Frank Zeng
DDS (University of Melbourne)
Dr Frank Zeng is a caring and attentive dentist who places strong emphasis on making dental visits comfortable and stress-free. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interest in preventative, restorative, and aesthetic care. Dr Frank takes the time to build trust with each patient, ensuring they feel at ease and well-informed throughout their treatment.
Outside the clinic, Dr Zeng enjoys staying active on the basketball court and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin and takes pride in providing personalised care for patients from diverse backgrounds. Dr Frank is available on Thursdays.
Dr Darren Chen
DDS (University of Melbourne)
Dr Darren Chen is a dedicated and friendly dentist who values building strong, trusting relationships with his patients. A Melbourne local, he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry. Dr Darren is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable in the chair and takes a gentle, personalised approach to every visit, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their care.
Outside the clinic, Dr Chen enjoys spending time on the golf course and working on his music, often writing and recording songs for his album. He speaks English and Shanghainese and is also proficient in Japanese, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients in their preferred language.
Dr Timothy Van
BDSc (University of Western Australia)
Dr Timothy Van is a highly experienced and compassionate dentist with a strong focus on complex dental care and cosmetic rehabilitation. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 2008, he relocated to Melbourne where he has been serving patients with advanced restorative and implant dentistry ever since. He has completed extensive further training, including the GIDE Master Clinical Implant Program in Los Angeles and All-on-4 certification with Nobel Biocare. Dr Timothy is also a certified Invisalign provider, a graduate of Progressive Orthodontics, and an accredited provider of both nitrous oxide and twilight sedation. Known for his gentle and thorough approach, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve long-term, functional, and confident smiles.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Van leads dental volunteer missions with CHAT to provide care in Vietnam, reflecting his strong commitment to giving back. He speaks English, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Mandarin, allowing him to communicate easily with a wide range of patients. When he's not in the clinic, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, creating lasting memories as a proud and devoted father.
